Vulnerable Women Benefit

The Vulnerable Women Benefit (VWB) Program is being implemented in Sullah and Tahirpur Upazilas of Sunamganj District with support from the Department of Women Affairs under the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs. The program focuses on improving the socio-economic condition of vulnerable women. Women beneficiaries receive training on income generating activities such as poultry, duck, and goat rearing. The project also provides life-skills training and group development activities. Community mobilization and awareness sessions are regularly organized. Through these activities women are gaining confidence and financial independence. The program is helping them start small businesses and support their families. Overall, it contributes to women’s empowerment and community development.
